Show People is the never ending story of the rise and fall of a star. It also depicts the life behind the curtain, the private life of the show people. I am very familiar with the backstage world, I know its highs and lows. But despite the dramas and the vanity, the hard work of the true talented ones to make us happy will never be vain.

This montage is an hommage to the great designer. His life was complex, full of beauty and melancholy. I feel strongly connected with his inner soul. I have an autographed copy of La vilaine Lulu, his cartoon alter ego. She has always made me think of me.

This film was made of footage of 8 mm movies shot during our summer trips in L.A when I was a young child. Never the feelings and the memories will stay as vivid as those you have when you are a little child. This is also an hommage to the close ones who now live only in memory and on films.
